STAG Terms of Use

1. The platform

STAG is a retail operations platform developed and operated by Keyemani (Pty) Ltd. Participating retail organisations are provisioned as clients of STAG. Access is limited to users authorised by Keyemani or the relevant retail client.

2. Authorised access

Users must keep credentials confidential, use only their own authorised account, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. A user may not bypass access controls, probe the service for vulnerabilities, interfere with the platform, scrape protected information, introduce malicious code, or use another person's credentials.

3. Retailer responsibility

Retail clients remain responsible for their products, services, staff, customer or member relationships, licences, regulatory obligations, transaction legality, pricing decisions, taxes and compliance with laws applicable to their own operations. STAG is a technology platform and does not itself become the seller of a retailer's goods or services merely because the platform is used to administer a transaction.

4. Data and records

Users must enter information accurately and may only access or alter records within the authority granted to them. Audit records may be retained to protect the integrity of the platform and participating retailers. A retail client's rights to export, retain or delete operational data may also be governed by its separate agreement with Keyemani.

5. Availability and updates

Keyemani may update, improve, restrict or temporarily interrupt STAG for maintenance, security, legal compliance or operational reasons. Keyemani will use reasonable efforts to maintain the service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

6. Intellectual property

STAG, its software, design, branding, documentation and platform technology are owned by or licensed to Keyemani (Pty) Ltd. Retail clients retain rights they lawfully hold in their own business data, branding and content.

7. Prohibited use

STAG may not be used for fraud, unlawful access, unlawful processing of personal information, infringement of third-party rights, or any activity prohibited by applicable law or a retail client's agreement with Keyemani.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, termination of a client relationship, breach of these terms, or legal compliance. Retail clients can also remove staff access in accordance with their authorised administrative controls.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law and subject to any separate written agreement, Keyemani is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate retailer data, unauthorised credential sharing, third-party systems, external payment services, unlawful retailer activity, connectivity failures outside Keyemani's control, or a user's failure to follow required operational procedures.

10. Privacy

Use of STAG is also subject to the STAG Privacy Policy. Retail clients may provide additional privacy notices relevant to their own members, customers and staff.

11. Governing law

Unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
